Great day at Earth Day, Balboa Park. From 10-5, we never stopped talking to folks who stopped by to hear about GPK.

If you are a teacher in the San Diego country public school system, and would like one of my twelve remaining FREE kits (courtesy of the Green Effect), come by my booth tomorrow at the Balboa Park Earth Day Fair---and you can walk away with one! I'll be at booth #163, in front of the rose garden, close to the Museum of Man. See you there...

Another application of the Green Party Kit---camping trips! Pictured here in use at Joshua Tree for a tenth birthday! We had fire-cooked meals, in aluminum foil. I didn't wash the dishes until two days later---and was pleased that the BBQ sauce didn't leave a trace on the white plates.
The applications for Green Party Kits are numerous---here it is in use at our Little League Caps night. Every year, team ballcaps are distributed, cakes are auctioned as a fundraiser, and kids have a piece of cake with their teams. Usually, goodies are served with disposable goods---but not with the mighty Grasshoppers!
Green Party Kits has signed on to sponsor a very cool project: "American Makeover---a web series about New Urbanism, the alternative to suburban sprawl" (Thanks to an anonymous patron in Indian Wells!) Visit them at www.americanmakeover.tv

Last night I spoke at the Riverside Womens' Club for their conservation night. Thank you to Robbie Kennedy for the invitation, and to all the women who do so much for our communities!

Today I visited 5 schools in Encinitas to deliver free party kits. This district has recently created a "green team" with representatives from each elementary campus to work on greening their schools. Here I am talking to one classroom about the project at Ocean Knoll.
